The Centre for Advanced Placement Education was a research facility associated with St. Brendan's College.  Its primary goal was to conduct research into the Advanced Placement program^*, particularly as it concerned the web-based or distance delivery of Advanced Placement courses. While closely associated with the college, the CAPE maintains a professional degree of independence.
